I have not tested this ball in rigorous scientific conditions, but I HAVE played with this ball much. I had always thought that you need a 3 star ping pong ball in order to have perfect play, so I bought some 3 star balls to start off with. Strangely enough, one ball came with my paddle/racket which was a 2 star, so I decided to preserve my 3 star balls to play with this 2 star one. It was great! I honestly couldn't tell too much of a difference! (barely)considering the price differences, I was very delighted at the quality of this DHS 2 star ball. I've tried some really terrible ping pong balls out there... most of them probably balls from those American sporting goods stores, and this is what I would call a quality ping pong ball. (I would still go with 3 star balls if you are playing competitively, just because you should know and feel the difference) I had just come back to buy about 60 of these balls for recreational practice, in the meantime,...
