I have tried several all-wood / carbon blades, some of them light and fast, but slightly inconsistent (andro super core light off+, Spintech Carbo Phenom, Joola MC1), some of them heavy (Butterfly Schlager and others).. and the hurricane king has better touch and consistency, it is pretty fast for and all-wood blade, and it is a little bit on the heavy side at 86 grams, what makes it heavier is the fact that the head is bigger than most blades, so when you add rubber, of course you will add more rubber area than usual, increasing the total net weight... the blade is medium/hard, and because of the all-wood construction, you can feel vibration/feedback, if you are used to really hard carbon blades, then this feeling is amusing/annoying at first, but you can quickly get used to it.... in general a great blade for looping and blocking.. although too expensive in my opinion (i bought it way cheaper as second-hand), in retrospect, I have spent more money in...
