4.0 out of 5 stars Good paddle for beginners and wallet-tight intermediate players, January 23, 2011
This review is from: Stiga Titan Table Tennis Racket (Sports)
I have used this paddle for about half a year now so I know quite a bit about it.
Starting with the blade (middle wood part). Its is a very light weight blade that is very good for those who have a relatively speedy game play, but due to this lighter blade it does not have much momentum and is therefore not for those who play a power game. Also, perhaps due to the light material of the blade, it seems that some of the power is absorbed by the paddle instead of being transferred to the ball.

For the sponge. It is a low quality sponge and has a very slow rebound time (the time it takes for the sponge to return to its original shape and depth after it has been impacted by the ball) which further goes to reducing the power of the paddle, due to the fact that if the ball hits near the same place it will not provide as much support against the ball.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Paddle, December 8, 2010
This review is from: Stiga Titan Table Tennis Racket (Sports)
Very good paddle. The reason why I got this paddle is because of its control. It is very lightweight and the spin is decent. The rubber is 2 milimeters thick. The price is very good.

If you are wondering, the speed is 80, the spin is 72, and the control is 82.

4.0 out of 5 stars Review, October 31, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: Stiga Titan Table Tennis Racket (Sports)
Great product. Shipped very fast. This racket is for defensive style of play, but I prefer more offensive style. Buy this product if you are defender. Best racket for that price.
